Three Screen Service platform By KDDI R&D Labs
Video description: “Because mobile screens are small, if you’re watching a soccer game, for example, it might be difficult to see the ball, or to know which player has it right now. So we think there’s a need to enlarge just the parts of the picture people want to see. With this technology, the full resolution stream is on the server side, and it is then cropped and streamed to mobile phones.”

Symbian Apps: Nokia Situations – Let your phone behavior adapt to your daily situations
Nokia Situations helps your device tie more into your life. You can manually define situations, like “In a meeting”, “Sleeping”, “Watching TV”, or “Playing with kids” and define how you want the device to act. With the application running in the background, your device automatically senses the situation you are in and adapts to it according to your preferences.
You can trigger any combination of the following actions in any situation:
* Change Ringtones, make the phone go silent or louder, turn vibra on/off, and all the other profile settings.
* Answer missed calls with SMS. Especially when you set your phone to silent, you can also make it reply to missed calls, from contacts in your phonebook, with a pre-defined SMS.
* Save Power. Not using phone for a while, like when sleeping? Turn Bluetooth on/off or let your phone change to power-saving mode totally.
* Change UI theme / Wallpaper. Want to make the phone look different in different situations? Change the Theme during free time vs. when you are at work.
* Open a Web bookmark or application. Want to see weather forecast for the day when you wake up? Look at the calendar as first thing? Or open your favorite TV show discussion page at show time? Or perhaps change the Device Mode when at work?
To enable the device to act on the situation, you can tell the device to watch for the following conditions (separately or in combination):
* Scheduled. Set period of time, Set active days, Set during active calendar events.
* Location. Nearby (GSM location), Current location (GPS fix), From Map (use Ovi maps)
* Connectivity. Wi-Fi (when in range), Bluetooth

Bad News: Skyfire kills support for Symbian and Windows devices
Bad news for Symbian and Windows Mobile users. Seems like Skyfire is killing the support for both OS. Heres the press release:
Skyfire 2.0 is the world’s first hybrid browser, using the best of the device’s native browser, and adding a cloud “booster engine” for extra features like video and social networking. It is our flagship go-forward product, as we’ve reported publicly for months, since our Android launch.
With that in mind, we are announcing that we will complete the phase out of our legacy v1.0 product on Windows Mobile and Symbian on December 31st, 2010 for remaining countries. This two-year old product used a “proxy browser” approach which is no longer our vision. It was a revolutionary product when introduced and offered for free, but the fast-moving mobile market has changed significantly since 2007, and as a small tech start-up, we need to keep innovating forward.

Video: New Nokia N8 India TVC
Below is an official
Nokia N8 advertisement for India. It seems that it's pretty much the same shell as some other N8 ads just with regional variations - such as the contacts and voice over.
A difference here is that this is being marketed with Airtel which is providing 6 months FREE mobile internet with the N8. Compared to airtel, tata docomo is much cheaper and also their edge network speed is amazing. For Rs 48 you get 100mb 2gb (during night) and for Rs 98 you get 200mb 4gb(during night) worth data usage for a whole month, btw 1 us dollar=47 indian rupees.
