Now that is something refreshing - using a microscope to compare the different types of screens used in today's smartphones. Thanks to an industrial microscope at a 201x zoom, you can really grasp the differences between the Super AMOLED, Super LCD, LCD and IPS LCD displays.

This little Flash-based tool, courtesy of Sz?kely Zolt?n, is pretty straightforward to use. You just click on a phone to the left of the LG Optimus 2X (set as a constant), then click on the Android Market icon and enjoy seeing what makes the screen what it is.

Click on any of the phone thumbnails below to view a display comparison at microscopic level:

Having an industrial microscope lying around, Sz?kely Zolt?n has decided to do a super detailed 360-view of the HTC Incredible S and the LG Optimus 2X. Using the two flash tools below, you can click on the hot spots to see in great detail the materials used to make the certain parts of the phones. Don't forget to click the arrows on the top to turn the phone.

Click on any of the hotspots below to view it in microscopic detail. Use the arrows in the top corner to turn the phone around:

Touch for the blackBerry curve may be declared to the BlackBerry World

Posted by TechBoyArena on Sunday, April 24, 2011 0 comments

Yet another release of BlackBerry touchscreen for packing. This time it s touch for the BlackBerry Curve with trade mark of T-Mobile rumored and possible appearance of the BlackBerry world next month.

Unlike the other curve models this one drops the keyboard and rely on touchscreen exclusively. so much so that new models of the touch for a BlackBerry curve seems to have reduced even trekbola.

We wouldn't t placed too much stock in these images, although they look kind of wonky (in the side views, what are these bumpy stuff on the lower half of which must be touchscreen?).

However, some rumor (as far as rumors can be determined) is that the BlackBerry Curve with touch will be announced in the BlackBerry world next month June or July launch. T-Mobile will reportedly need to carry in your phone.

Curve touch is the GSM version of the BlackBerry Malibu, both of which must have a 800 MHz processor, 512 MB RAM, 3.25 HVGA screen and a 5MP camera, with HD video recording.

BlackBerry world will be held 3-5 may, and if these rumors pan, we ll see BlackBerry Curve touch was then.

And so what leads to this pedigree? Games from the original PlayStation one, with PlayStation 2 titles coming in the near future. The PlayStation Store game Pocket comes with 50 games at launch, optimized for playback. You LL certainly also appreciate the familiar sense and design of the buttons of the games. .

Those are usually simple games optimized for touch screen input, usually with only one or two controls. But some want more compelling games and those which require more complex controls. In the meantime hasn t this iPad is so hot 4,7 million units were shipped in comparison with 7.3 million in the previous quarter. IPad, launched in March 2010 no year over year numbers and iPad 2, launched in March 2011, so that couldn t help much with sales of Apple's tablet. iPod sales fell year on 17% during the year (10.9 million in Q1 2010 to 9 million in Q1 2011).

Total desktop sales are down (-12% year over year), while mobile PCs experienced astronomic leads Apple s mobile gadget went up marginally year on 53% during the year (in terms of units shipped).

For Q2 of 2011, Apple's CFO is predicting 23 billion dollars in revenue. Ambitious, but it is certainly possible that Apple form for the latter.

IPhone 4, saving your movements, wherever you are

Posted by TechBoyArena on Sunday, April 24, 2011 0 comments

Two security researchers in the United Kingdom revealed a disturbing truth. It seems that iPhone 4 everywhere have been tracking their users movements with startling accuracy (Unbeknownst to the consumer) and Moreover, the ease at which this information can be decrypted is obviously so easy to open as in JPEG.

For some, this may not seem like so much problem, but the invasion of privacy and collection of secret data can be a serious problem. Tracking of seemingly not described capabilities seems to have started the registration of data, since iPhone 4 Update June 2010 and stopped by. Location tracking does not use GPS, so it can allow or revoke your location services will really make a difference. Instead, the phone uses more traditional triangulation to determine your phone movements. Although Apple does not want to shout about it, some seem to know about this for some time, mainly those in computer forensics business, but still.

Innocuously named file in question-the consolidated. db-data records for location of phones, the time for stamping any register as it goes. Once sync iPhone with PC or Mac? Of course you have, and this means that this file is there too, and as such, is easy to find and open. Even repayment or pulling of a backup copy of the new device will retain logs will. Obviously the way handset, accounting data is unique to the iPhone, although carriers are able to record information about the location for some time, as have the police. The data does not, however, sent back to Apple so that its use in this time is unclear.

It seems that Apple's position on issues covered their iTunes, terms and conditions, simply stating, "Apple and our partners and licensees may collect, use and sharing of data, including real-time geographic location of your Apple computer or device. This location data is collected anonymously in a form which does not identify you personally and is used by Apple and our partners and licensees to provide and improve location based products and services. For example, you can share a geographical location with the providers of applications when you select in this location services to them. "

Scary things and for the conspiracy theorists among you and yet another step towards big brother watching over us all.

Until now, HTC phones are hardly shooters of choice for cell photographer. A good conclusion from what you want to see things that might be just to change. We have video shootout experience and LG Optimus 2 X comparison of 1080p footage, recorded by both Android smartphones.

It seems that HTC finally began making camera Department seriously as dual HTC sense , makes a pretty good and against the LG Optimus 2 X , however, far from finished just yet.

Now balance and noise levels of the colors look better LG Smartphone, but HTC sense seems to be sharper of the two. Still the fact that HTC is still quite certain i-dotting and t move to be made prior to release the feeling we will refrain from passing judgment at this time.

Check out the video below to see the actual shootout. Just remember to switch to 1080p mode and switch to the full.

Why tracking your iOS is and how to stop it

Posted by TechBoyArena on Sunday, April 24, 2011 0 comments

You've heard by now for the detailed register, iOS device to keep your movements. Now there's a tool for prevention, plus some more clarity on the matter, which, as he is neither new nor unique.

iOS has proposed location services from the outset-you know, pinpointing your location using cell ID and Wi-Fi hotspots. Early devices used Google and Skyhook database to do this, but after the iOS 3.2 Apple was developing its own database-why Apple must collect such statistics. The data are annonimized and sent over an encrypted channel.

The real problem is that it maintains an unencrypted file contains your iGadgets record of all your movements from the prior year and this file is copied to each computer you've synced to and archives, which may have made.

Every access to the file (called consolidated. db), or by hacking the device that contains a copy of the file, or simply stealing your easy to retrieve a log of your movements during the last year.

It appears, however, that the actions to register the location of iGadgets (iPhones and iPads on 3 G) have been found as yet last year and weren t really secret, just without any prominent warnings (it's in the terms and conditions, which most people have probably never read). Also, older versions of iOS (v4) keep such records and elsewhere.

You can read a post by Alex Levinson, (one of the people who initially, which is not a problem) for more information about how and why not, what does the iOS.

For those who immediately put their tinfoil hats, there s the app to delete the directory and to iOS from having one. IT s the app called Untrackerd, which can be installed from Cydia to jailbroken iGadget software store.

Samsung strikes back at Apple with a lawsuit of their own

Posted by TechBoyArena on Saturday, April 23, 2011 0 comments

Samsung promises, it will hit the Apple because of their lawsuit against the Galaxy s composition. Well it just is that patent infringement claims 10 for filling Apple products in three different countries. And it s just the beginning.

According to Samsung Apple has infringed five of its patents in South Korea, two in Japan and three in Germany. As we previously reported cases that have wireless patents.

There is a good chance to have more of these patent claims against Apple come. The result is rather vague, but we are not quite sure that Apple makes the proper thing poking in one of its most important suppliers of telephone parts.

We guess it will take several years of each other before we see barking some real villages.

This is what the Apple iPhone 5?

Posted by TechBoyArena on Saturday, April 23, 2011 0 comments

When it comes to Apple's next iPhone, rumor mill never seems to stop the production of noise on how the iPhone will look like and what hardware it ll Pack. Well, it's Engadget's Joshua Topolsky, former editor, says he has some new information on how you can look the next Smartphone of Cupertino, California.

What you see on the left is the mockup, using all the information and rumors from various sources which Topolsky claims "not to ignore". While many expect Apple to pull the iPhone 3GS (5), this mockup screams the opposite. According to these sources iPhone 5 will look more like the iPod Touch and still difficult to find the iPad 2.

Not only that, but the home button will double as a gesture area and the movements are almost certainly will be carried out in a future version of iOS. Rumors of the larger screen is confirmed here and. IPhone 5 is expected to reflect the expanded 3.7-inch screen, which covers almost end-to-end connectivity of the device.

Hardware-wise, the next iPhone is expected to sport faster A5 processor and updated 8 megapixel camera, but that's not something we haven t heard before. According to Topolsky, Apple has been a lot of experimenting with the iPhone (5) and will make the jaws people expect only 4 s drop iPhone.

Whatever the case, we'll undoubtedly see how Apple will play his cards of WWDC in July this year.
