Reliance-Infotel plans ambitious 4 G wireless broadband launch

Pan India broadband wireless access (BWA) spectrum winner Infotel broadband LTD., aiming to start the long term evolution (LTE) based on high speed 4 G Wirelss broadband service in India.

Mukesh Ambani-owned reliance Industries Limited (RIL) controlled Infotel broadband LTD. plans to create a world class-modern technology, using light strategy of asset. RIL will build several strategic relations with the host of the leading players such as the global technology, service providers, infrastructure providers, application developers, device manufacturers and others to leapfrog India 4 G revolution.

According to our sources, reliance-Infotel plans to start service of BWA data in approximately 700 cities in the first phase of its boot BWA with data from 50 Mbps speed to 100 Mbps. RIL is currently finalizing suppliers will deliver broadband equipmenton the basis of and long-term evolution (LTE) technology so as to restore wireless broadband services by the end of 2012.

RIL – also speaks with leading Infotel Tower companies to employ any towers across the country for the beginning of its pan-India during the first phase. According to our sources leading companies of the Tower, Viom networks, and GTL infrastructure LTD are in the process of proposals with this mega-conglomerate.

RIL argues that broadband opportunity as a new frontier of knowledge, in which it may occupy the position and India with the opportunity to be in its between the parties providing skills 4 g networks and services. A range of 20 MHz TDD number, when used with LTE (long-term evolution) has the potential to provide greater capacity in comparison with the existing communication infrastructure in the country.

Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) is 95% stake in Infotel broadband services (P) Ltd, which appeared as a tenderer in all 22 circles (Pan India) of the auction for broadband wireless access (BWA) 4 G spectrum, carried out by the point in June 2010.
