Two security researchers in the United Kingdom revealed a disturbing truth. It seems that iPhone 4 everywhere have been tracking their users movements with startling accuracy (Unbeknownst to the consumer) and Moreover, the ease at which this information can be decrypted is obviously so easy to open as in JPEG.

For some, this may not seem like so much problem, but the invasion of privacy and collection of secret data can be a serious problem. Tracking of seemingly not described capabilities seems to have started the registration of data, since iPhone 4 Update June 2010 and stopped by. Location tracking does not use GPS, so it can allow or revoke your location services will really make a difference. Instead, the phone uses more traditional triangulation to determine your phone movements. Although Apple does not want to shout about it, some seem to know about this for some time, mainly those in computer forensics business, but still.

Innocuously named file in question-the consolidated. db-data records for location of phones, the time for stamping any register as it goes. Once sync iPhone with PC or Mac? Of course you have, and this means that this file is there too, and as such, is easy to find and open. Even repayment or pulling of a backup copy of the new device will retain logs will. Obviously the way handset, accounting data is unique to the iPhone, although carriers are able to record information about the location for some time, as have the police. The data does not, however, sent back to Apple so that its use in this time is unclear.

It seems that Apple's position on issues covered their iTunes, terms and conditions, simply stating, "Apple and our partners and licensees may collect, use and sharing of data, including real-time geographic location of your Apple computer or device. This location data is collected anonymously in a form which does not identify you personally and is used by Apple and our partners and licensees to provide and improve location based products and services. For example, you can share a geographical location with the providers of applications when you select in this location services to them. "

Scary things and for the conspiracy theorists among you and yet another step towards big brother watching over us all.
