Taiwanese handset maker HTC said that it has affected business not of the major natural disaster in Japan which has weighed on many manufacturers including Sony Ericsson, Panasonic, Canon and Nikon.
HTC CEO Peter Chou, said "HTC global is not affected supply chain and distribution channels and remain as normal." We have a comprehensive business continuity strategy and framework in place, a secondary supply chain, a crisis or a natural disaster, how to enable massive earthquake last Friday. "HTC working closely with our global supply chain and distribution channel partners, to monitor the situation in Japan, and is all the necessary steps to ensure that our operations affect business."
